Staff Spotlight

We are thrilled to introduce Maddy, our newest Animal Control Officer at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center! Maddy graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in animal science and has always had a passion for working directly with animals. However, she never wanted to be confined within an office, as she loves being outside and engaging with people and her community. That's why she believes animal control is the perfect blend of her two passions!

In her free time, Maddy enjoys playing ice hockey and is an avid fan of the Anaheim Ducks. She also loves skiing, snowboarding, and frequenting Big Bear and Mammoth during the winter months. Maddy shares her life with two adorable French Bulldogs named Winston (cream) and Wallace (fawn), which join her on various adventures.

Maddy's extensive experience includes working in animal control in Washington state, where she once impressively rescued three sheep from a burning barn in the countryside. Thanks to her dedication and care, the sheep were successfully rehabilitated.
