Shiloh
Hi there!
We adopted "Everly" now "Shiloh" from you last Christmas. She is the love of my life and I could not imagine a day without her. I am so incredibly thankful to everyone at the shelter for looking after her until she could come home to us. We had gone and visited 4 dogs, fell in love each time but each time it did not work out. I had given up hope, I began to feel that we were not supposed to have a dog and decided to put a pause on looking. My aunt called us the next week saying that she had been at the shelter by her and there was an Australian shepherd puppy that needed a home. Me and my husband said a quick prayer and I went down to fill out an application. The shelter called me letting me know that we were not their first choice, we were second in line but that the first family was likely to take her home. Again we prayed and knew God would ultimately make the decision. While at our family Christmas I got a call from the shelter, the first family wasn't taking her and that we were able to come visit and see if she was a right fit for us. She came home the next day and has been such a blessing, our wonderful Christmas present. We were looking at names for her, she chose Shiloh, which in Hebrew means God's gift. Every day I wake up feeling extremely lucky that I have found my calling, and I would have never known if it wasn't for my girl Shiloh.
