The Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts is inviting the community to a free, fun-filled celebration of creativity on Wednesday, September 21 at the Potocki Center for the Arts.

First up, learn how to create a succulent cork vase from 4 to 6 pm on the newly renovated patio. Then, at 6 pm, the Friends of the Arts and the Rotary Club of Orange County Digital will unveil a community art box. The art box was hand painted by local resident and artist Lauren Nicole, and will be installed at the Potocki Center entrance. Generously donated by the Rotary Club, this kiosk will contain artwork or art kits to surprise and delight the community. Folks are welcome to share, take, or leave art items for others.

Following the art box dedication, meet photographer Ron Cohan at the opening of his exhibit in the gallery. Cohan's work features vibrant views of South Orange County and will be on display through October 31.
