NASA Perseverance Rover taking a selfie on the surface of Mars.

Patrons of all ages are invited to join our NASA Solar System Ambassadors and a NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Engineer for a STEM presentation on Mars. We will talk about the history of exploring the red planet and learn about the Perseverance Rover mission currently collecting core samples of Martian rock and regolith for possible return to earth.

After the presentation, patrons are invited to view the night sky in the Science Heads’ Mobile Observatory. Although Mars won’t be in the night sky during the program, participants will be able to view Saturn and Jupiter, weather permitting.
