Adopt a rescue rabbit this February during National Adopt-a-Rescue Rabbit Month

Hop over to Mission Viejo Animal Services Center this National Adopt-a-Rescue Rabbit Month and meet Marilyn Bunroe and David Hasselhop – two sweet young bunnies waiting for their forever homes.

Adopt-a-Rescue Rabbit Month’s purpose is to raise awareness about the countless rabbits in shelters and rescues and to dispel common myths about pet rabbits. Rabbits often go unnoticed in the animal adoption world, leading to many being surrendered or abandoned. People often believe rabbits are easy, low-maintenance pets, but they require significant care, attention, and a proper habitat big enough to hop around in for exercise.

Marilyn Bunroe is a gentle, 7-month-old female Hotot rabbit. She is very curious and enjoys exploring, playing in tunnels, chewing on wooden toys and getting head rubs. David Hasselhop is a 1-year-old male Holland Lop with an outgoing personality who loves to run around and do binkies. A bunny binky is a jump or leap rabbits perform when they are happy or excited. David Hasselhop also enjoys being pet but kisses may take some time.

Both rabbits are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopting a rescue rabbit not only saves a life but also brings joy and companionship into your home. Make a difference in these rabbits’ lives and meet them today at 28095 Hillcrest.
