Business activity continues to boom in Mission Viejo
The City of Mission Viejo continues to celebrate new businesses opening in town. Today, we are welcoming the following businesses, which have either recently opened or will in the coming weeks.
Bushfire Kitchen, The Taco Stand, Philz Coffee and Mendocino Farms are all located in the Alicia Landing commercial center at 24440 Alicia Parkway. The Dizzy Bird is in The Shops at Mission Viejo.
Bushfire Kitchen, a popular California-based restaurant brand, is planning to open its Mission Viejo location mid-2024, according to a press release from the eatery. Known for its tasty health-conscious cuisine featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, this family-owned restaurant group has cultivated a dedicated following. The Mission Viejo establishment will feature dishes like the Grass-fed Chimichurri Tri-tip, Thai Chicken Curry, En Fuego Burger, and empanadas. Additionally, the restaurant will offer a large selection of craft beer, wine, and sangria.
The Taco Stand is expected to open on January 29. Inspired by the taco stands of the Baja Peninsula, The Taco Stand strives to provide an authentic taco experience that features handmade corn tortillas and fresh, quality ingredients. With only 10 locations nationwide, Mission Viejo will be the company's 11th location (fourth in Orange County).
Philz Coffee is passionate about great tasting coffee as they are about a commitment to this community. "We specialize in customized coffee blends made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world and skillfully roasted in our roasting facility in Oakland, CA," according to the business's website.
Since mid-November, Mendocino Farms has been serving up chef-driven sandwiches and salads made with fresh ingredients in its fast-casual eatery. "We first opened our doors in 2005 as a family business with the vision to offer much more than great food"”we wanted to build a welcoming gathering place where happiness is always an order away. And we've been inviting our guests to Eat Happy ever since," according to the restaurant's website.
The Dizzy Bird also recently opened in The Shops at Mission Viejo. The eatery serves Mediterranean-inspired rotisserie chicken that is first spatchcocked (butterflied) and then marinated for 24 hours. The birds are infused with herbs, citrus and garlic and served alongside signature sauces and other popular Mediterranean sides. Patrons can opt for chicken served in pressed wraps, on top of colorful bowls and salads or a la carte.
If you have not visited these establishments, be sure to support them and all Mission Viejo businesses with your patronage.
