City Council will recognize area residents whose bravery saved a couple trapped inside a burning car

The City Council on Tuesday, June 10 will recognize two area residents who helped to save the lives of a couple trapped inside a burning car. 

The business portion of the meeting starts at 6 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

During the presentation part of the meeting, the Council will recognize the heroism of Caden Bunge and Hudson Moline for their recent bravery and quick-thinking in rescuing a couple from a burning vehicle.

As reported, Tuesday’s meeting will also include Mission Viejo’s 2025-27 budget workshop. The proposed budget, which is balanced, is a $197.1 million bundle of services, programs and projects for the benefit of Mission Viejo residents and businesses and provides for essential service levels and programs with $18 million in funding included for capital improvements.

The Council will also consider an amendment to the City’s Senior Mobility Program, which offers a popular and convenient Dial-A-Taxi Service for residents.
