Don’t miss Fur-ever Friends Fall Festival and Open House Oct. 11

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 11 for the Fur-ever Friends Fall Festival and Open House at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.

Held from 11 am to 3 pm at 28095 Hillcrest, this fun-filled family event will feature more than a dozen rescue groups with adoptable dogs, cats, bunnies, and even reptiles—all looking for loving homes.

Catering to all ages, the festival will also boast a pumpkin patch to celebrate the fall season; crafts and hands-on activities for kids; and wildlife education and animal meet-and-greet opportunities.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a new furry (or scaly) friend to your family, this is the perfect chance to meet a variety of animals and connect with the organizations that care for them.

You will also learn how you can get involved and see firsthand how animal services make a difference in our community.

For more information, contact 949-470-3045.

I'm elderly and I use a walker. I hope I can find a little furry friend that I can take care of. I'm allergic, so it would have to be hypoallergenic. Maybe a poodle, or a maltese. I hope I can find a friend on Oct 11.
