Felicity needs and deserves a special home

felicity

Occasionally, a pet arrives at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center that needs a special home. Felicity is one such cat. She is beautifully unique with a paw-print pattern on her back. Curious and playful, she loves watching birds.

Felicity needs a special home because she is a “cat person’s” cat—she needs someone who appreciates that cats can be independent, sometimes feisty and prefer to live on their own terms. She spent time in our director’s office, exploring from floor to ceiling, investigating every nook and cranny and sniffing every scent. At first, she allowed some petting but would give a warning swat when she’d had enough. After a few days, she jumped into the director’s lap and graciously accepted more affection. When she’s finished, though, she’s finished.

Felicity does not like other cats and becomes very upset when she sees dogs, so she does best as the only pet and the undisputed queen of the household. If you have what it takes to understand the needs of this special, spicy 1‑year‑old, visit the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest to meet her.
