Free Movies in the Park series returns with ‘A Minecraft Movie’ Sept. 13

Mark your calendar for this year’s Movies in the Park series that kicks off with the family film “A Minecraft Movie” on Saturday, September 13 at Pavion Park, 24051 Pavion.

The series includes activities, music, and games beginning at 5 pm before the films screen around dusk. 

Other upcoming movies in the series include: 

  • “Lilo & Stitch” on September 27 at Napoli Park, 27682 Napoli Way
  • “The Goonies” on October 11 at Florence Joyner Park, 22760 Olympiad Road 

Bring your blankets and chairs early to reserve a spot and enjoy refreshments available for purchase.

Thank you for your comment on the News page and interest in the Movies in the Park series. City staff will be onsite and setting up by 3 pm, so you may wish to arrive anytime after that to see where the screen is going to be placed.
