Jojo needs a forever home

If you have a zest for life or are looking for a dog with similar enthusiasm, then Jojo is the perfect companion for you! Jojo is a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever mix that is the friendliest and most spirited dog you'll ever meet. When she knows it’s time for a walk, she becomes giddy with excitement, bouncing up and down in anticipation of her next adventure.

Once she’s leashed and ready to go, she bolts out the door with an incredible spirit. Her energy shines not only during walks—where she eagerly looks ahead for new scents to explore—but also in her playtime. Jojo loves to run in the yard, play with toys, and zoom around racking up miles under her paws.

Jojo’s journey has already taken her far, as she came from a shelter in Los Angeles after being found as a stray. When the Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fires first broke out, Mission Viejo Animal Services stepped in to rescue dogs from shelters in those areas to make room for evacuated animals. LA Animal Care and Control was grateful for our assistance and entrusted us to find homes for several dogs, all of whom have been adopted—except for Jojo.
