Kids can learn about being healthy, the importance of exercise and have fun during the quarter- and half-mile races at the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Community Health Fair on Saturday, February 28.

The fun begins at 7:30 am at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

The Kids' Run – hosted by Spirit League – begins at 10 am with a group warm-up and race at 10:15 am. This is a fun course for kids of all abilities. Kids will run or walk starting at the 5K arch. Children will gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment when they cross the finish line and receive a fun medal.

Pre-register your child now and 100 percent of your pre-registration fee will go to the nonprofit of your choice. The half- and quarter-mile fee is $10 and will increase to $15 after 7 pm on Friday, February 20. Online registration closes at 8 pm on February 25; however, folks can still register in person at the event.

The Oso Fit 5K Fun Run begins at 8:30 am and the Community Health Fair opens at 7:30 am. The fair is free to attend regardless of participation in the Oso Fit races.
