Mission Viejo Police Services' 2025 Employee of the Year named
Deputy Cameron Mosher has been named Mission Viejo Police Services' 2025 Employee of the Year.
The deputy's outstanding work ethic has gained him the respect of his peers, supervisors and community members alike.
Deputy Mosher has been assigned to the City of Mission Viejo for 2.5 years, and along with his duties as a patrol deputy, he serves as an Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) Explorer Post Advisor; Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) member; certified drone pilot; and member of the Sheriff’s Honor Guard and Drug Recognition Expert.
In 2025, it was Deputy Mosher’s role as an Explorer Advisor that made the most significant impact on Mission Viejo. The Explorer program plays a vital role in the development of teenagers and young adults who aspire to careers in law enforcement, while also providing valuable additional staffing for numerous City events. Through the program, Explorers gain meaningful exposure to public interaction and develop critical-thinking skills by learning to understand and explain complex concepts related to the application of law.
“Deputy Cameron Mosher is an integral member of the Mission Viejo Police Services team who can be consistently relied upon to successfully accomplish any task assigned to him,” said his supervisor Sgt. Joe Pawlikowski. “He demonstrates the maturity necessary to earn the respect of the City’s residents, while also possessing the ability to relate effectively to youth through his skills and professional development.”
The City appreciates Deputy Mosher’s vast efforts and commitment to this community. He will be honored by the City Council at an upcoming meeting.
