Sweet dog deserves a loving forever home
Cal came to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center as a stray in May.
Staff soon discovered he had an owner, who sadly could no longer care for him, so Cal was relinquished into our care. Cal was adopted quickly but returned shortly thereafter because he is too much dog to live in an apartment.
Now, Cal is waiting for that perfect home, one with a yard and active family. Weighing in at 55 pounds, Cal is just a little over a year old and is a strikingly beautiful dog, likely a mix of Siberian Husky and Labrador Retriever. He is also very sweet but lacks a bit of focus, so he could use training and consistency as well as a daily exercise regimen.
To get Cal off to the right start, DAWG will sponsor his adoption to an approved applicant and will also pay for his training once adopted. Cal is a friendly, outgoing young dog that loves treats, cuddles, and play time, and deserves a great home.
