The City will host a special Virtual Veterans Day Ceremony this year to maintain social distancing while commemorating the national holiday.  The ceremony will begin airing at 8:30 am on November 11 (and will air continuously throughout the day) on MVTV - Cox Channel 30 and AT&T Channel 99. You can also see the program on the City's YouTube channel.

Marine Corps Colonel Seth W.B. Folsom will serve as the keynote speaker, accompanied by retired Army Sergeant First Class Green Beret Orlando Ambriz. Along with special messages reflecting the meaning of Veterans Day, a flag-folding ceremony will be hosted by Boy Scout Troop 727 and Cub Scouts Pack 727 in honor of the City's respect for the American flag.

Hold a REAL, in person, event! Veterans are, without a doubt, smart enough to adhere to all health guidelines!
