Shop bargains and support the Mission Viejo Library at the Friends of the Library’s two-day Summer Book Sale this Friday and Saturday, June 6-7. 

The sale takes place near the front entrance of the library at 100 Civic Center. Stop by on Friday, between 1-4:30 pm or Saturday, between 10 am-4 pm.

Kids are invited to strengthen their read-aloud skills by reading to therapy dogs Fiona and Oski. Bring a book from home or grab one from the library shelves.

Join Science Heads at the library and learn about the relationship of Earth's geologic evolution and the evolution of life. The immersive walk-through exhibit includes videos, real and replica fossils from early life to humans. The exhibit is designed to align with the NGSS Earth Science and Life core concepts.

Animal lovers will enjoy the wild animals of "The Emerald Forest" presented by Wild Wonders.

Michael Raynor returns for another afternoon of comic juggling! Prepare to laugh as he juggles random objects, unwraps a cheeseburger with a parasol, and other hilarious antics.

Kick off the Summer Reading Program with an interactive dance party featuring the Microphone Doctors!

Join us in The Kershaw Garden next to the Library at 4 pm for lawn games and activities. The Microphone Doctors will perform at 5 pm.

The community is invited to discuss the heartrending page-turner “The Girls of Good Fortune” with New York Times bestselling author Kristina McMorris on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber. 

This program has been placed on hold while we experience some significant staffing changes.

The library is partnering with Live Beyond to promote mental wellbeing for teens during finals season. Come enjoy fun activities and a speaker. We will have giveaways, games, crafts, and more!
