Special Needs Adaptive Program (SNAP)

Sensory Backpacks
Sensory backpacks are available for checkout! Each sensory backpack is a kit designed to accommodate different learning styles and address special sensory and development needs. They contain books, media, fidgets, and activities to help parents and children explore concepts like feelings, focus, and social skills.
Sensory Storytime
Ages 3 & up
An interactive and inclusive story time geared towards children with special needs. Held one Saturday a month at the Mission Viejo Library. Space is limited. Registration is required and available by emailing libraryprograms@cityofmissionviejo.org.
Wheelchair Adaptive Tennis Programs
The City of Mission Viejo will host bi-monthly free clinics for wheelchair and adaptive tennis players. For updates and registration information, call 949-859-4348 option 4.
ACEing Autism Tennis
ACEing Autism Tennis offers a free tennis clinic to children with autism. People interested in having their children participate or are interested in getting involved as a youth or adult volunteer should contact info@aceingautism.org or call 949-859-4348 option 4.
