Building Inspection Request

NOTICE: 

This form will be turned off on July 1st, 2025 and any inspections requested on this form after this date will not be accepted.  Please make sure you are scheduling all inspections through our Client Self-Service Portal.  If you do not have access to a permit, please reach out to the applicant of your permit to add you to the portal.  If you are trying to schedule an inspection for a Legacy Permit (e.g. Permit #160000) please reach out to Building & Safety by phone or email.

 

*** IMPORTANT NOTES ***

Inspection requests must submitted BEFORE 4 pm on a business day for a next business day inspection. Inspection requests received AFTER 4 pm on a business day will be scheduled for the following business day.

  1. The approved plans, permit, and job card must be present on at the job site for an inspection.
  2. An adult over the age of 18 must be present if access is required into the home.
  3. CANCEL YOUR INSPECTION HERE. Once an inspection is submitted, it may not be modified. Only the assigned inspector may decide time status of a morning or afternoon inspection.
  4. To confirm whether your inspection is scheduled, please CHECK THE INSPECTION RUN-LIST HERE after 8:30 am the day of your inspection.
  5. An exact inspection time or timeframe cannot be requested. Inspector's window time of arrival cannot be guaranteed.

  6. ***YOU WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE A PHONE CALL TO CONFIRM YOUR INSPECTION. PLEASE ADD YOUR EMAIL BELOW IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION OF THIS REQUEST***

  7. All data fields must be entered correctly for an inspection to be scheduled.
  8. Request is completed when you click SUBMIT and see the Thank you message.

 

Please Note!

  • You will not receive a confirmation of your request.
  • Arrival times are not guaranteed.
  • To confirm whether your inspections is on the Daily Run list on the morning of your inspection.  You many cancel/reschedule your inspection at anytime.
